Refreshing, fizzy liquid deliciousness!
- 1 pint Strawberries, Hulled And Sliced
- 1 whole Lime, Juiced
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Mint Leaves
- ¼ cups Superfine Sugar
- 2 cans (12 Oz. Can) Plain Or Lime Seltzer Water, Chilled
Hull strawberries and slice in half. Add strawberries, lime juice and mint to a blender and process until smooth. Add superfine sugar and process until well blended. Pour into a fine mesh strainer placed over a small bowl and using a rubber spatula, gently press the fruit until all the puree is extracted and seeds are all that remain in the strainer.
In a pitcher, combine strawberry puree and the seltzer water, stirring gently to blend well. Serve in your favorite pretty glass (add ice if desired), kick back, put your feet up, and enjoy!
Note: superfine sugar is easy to make, no need to purchase it! If you have a food processor, simply whirl regular sugar until it is very finely ground.
