Even though temperatures are getting cooler, I’m still craving cold, thick smoothies!

Level: Easy
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- ⅓ cups Rolled Oats
- 6 ounces, weight Black Cherry Yogurt
- ¼ cups Almond Milk
- ⅓ cups Pumpkin Puree
- 1 teaspoon Chai Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ whole Frozen Banana
- 1 teaspoon Chopped Walnuts
- 4 whole Ice Cubes
- Granola, Crushed Pretzels, And Peanut Butter, For Topping
Preparation
Place oats, yogurt, milk, pumpkin, chai seeds, maple syrup, and cinnamon in a blender container. (Do not blend). Mix all together with a spoon and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight, until oats are thick.
Place frozen banana and walnuts in the blender. Blend for a few minutes until banana is fully incorporated into the oat mixture. The banana will turn the oats into a doughy ice cream. Add in your ice cubes and blend for a least two minutes to fully break down and incorporate the ice.
Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with granola, crushed pretzels, and a dollop of peanut butter.
