- 1 cup Brewed Coffee, Cooled
- 1 Frozen Banana, Peeled And Cut Into Chunks
- 1-½ cup Crushed Ice
- 1 Scoop (1/2 Cup) 100% Vanilla-flavored Whey Protein Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Flax Seeds
- ½ teaspoons Chia Seeds
- 1 package (Single-serving Packet) Stevia (optional)
- Mint, For Garnish
Brew coffee and allow it to cool. Peel frozen banana and cut into chunks (tip: peel overripe banana before you freeze it and place in freezer bag). Add crushed ice to blender. Add cooled coffee, frozen banana, whey protein power, ground flax and chia seeds to blender. Add Stevia, if desired (I think this smoothie is sweet enough from the whey protein powder and the banana, so taste your smoothie before you add any additional sweetener). Blend on high until well-blended. Pour into glass and serve immediately.
