The most refreshing post-workout summer smoothie! Sweetened with dates and Whole 30 friendly.
- 1 cup Cold Water
- ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
- 1 whole Pitted Medjool Date, Roughly Chopped (or 2, If You Like Things A Little Sweeter)
- ½ cups Frozen Berries
- ½ cups Frozen Pitted Cherries (or More Berries)
- 5 leaves Fresh Basil
Combine water, lemon juice, and date(s) in a blender and run until opaque with only small bits of the dates visible. With the blender off, add berries, cherries, and basil, and blend at increasing speed until thick and smooth.
Serve immediately. To keep the smoothie extra cold, serve over a couple ice cubes.
